Madam Eva's Reading

Upon meeting Madam Eva in the Vistani camp at Tser Pool, the adventurers were given a reading detailing aspects of a nebulous quest. The cards produced were these:

The Past:

In the past, which one interrogates for knowledge of the present, was revealed the one of wands, The Alchemist. Madam Eva advised the party to seek wisdom at the highest tower, where the stones themselves were alive.

The Present:

In the present, where one's concern is survival itself, Madam Eva revealed The Innocent. Protection can be found with one who was pure of heart, who in the folly of idealism contested with evil and fell in battle.

The Future:

In the future, where the party seeks to vanquish its enemy, was revealed The Abbess, the Queen of Chalices. A holy woman bears a token of great strength to wield against one's enemies.

Above:

Above, where mortals must seek aid, was revealed The Temptress. A great beauty, as if constructed for pleasure, shall lend her hand to the party's need.

Below:

Below, where danger lurks, was revealed The Hierophant, the high priest, the King of Chalices. In a once-hallowed place lurks an unspeakable evil.
