The Mundane Cartarokka was divided into four suits of cards with values from one to ten, each traditionally associated with a figure or archetype. The 7, 8, 9, and 10 of each suit were traditionally referred to as the knave, knight, queen, and king of their suit, respectively. The king and queen were sometimes distinguished from the other mundane cards as the "Royal Cartarokka," and were used in the traditional formulation of the [[Celestial Wheel]] to represent the [[wandering stars]].
